Need a quick and easy dessert for the 4th? This one couldn’t get any easier!!! You can whip this up in a matter of minutes and let it set-up for an hour and you’re ready to go! This is easily one of my all-time favorite desserts. Not just because I can eat, but because it’s so darn easy to make! SERIOUSLY!!!!
What you’ll need:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 large can of crushed pineapple
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 large box of cherry jell-o
2-12oz Whipped topping (thawed)
OPTIONAL:
Chopped pecans
Pretzels, crushed (optional) – use gluten-free pretzels or leave out all together for a grain-free option
First, combine the sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping and jell-o powder packet together in a bowl until completely incorporated.
Next, mix in the crushed pineapple and cherries. DO NOT DRAIN THEM.
**Optional: Here is where you add in your crushed pretzels.
NOTE: If you don’t have crushed pineapple on hand, simply put them in a blender and pulse a few times. Do the same with your pretzels to crush them up.
Make sure it is all mixed together and chill for at least an hour. I prefer to have mine set for a couple hours, but it should be ready to go in an hour.
ENJOY!!!!
Blessings,
